Jennie specializes in injury rehabilitation, as well as many different relaxation therapies. This wide range of services which are expertly offered, enables you to see the same therapist ensuring that you have the continuum of care you deserve. Jennie has over 20 years of experience, making sure you receive the best possible treatment.
Not only is Jennie a fully qualified Sports Rehabilitator (GSR for short) and a member of BASRaT, she is also a member of the SMA as well as the CHNC, who are regulated by the PSA.
Your injury rehabilitation session will start with an initial assessment and work on a mental as well as a physical level, to ensure all aspects of the injury and fitness are covered. This will enable a full return to health and sport, without subsequent re-occurrences.
Jennie is also an expert in many different types of massage, including lymphatic drainage, sports and deep tissue massage, VTCT qualified. Jennie also specialises in pregnancy and baby massage, oncology, acupuncture, as well as all aspects of women's health. All her qualifications are available to see if you wish.
More recently Jennie has also completed a level 4 counselling course, as well as a Mental Health first aid course, helping to bring balance and professionalism to all her treatments. This can be offered as a stand alone treatment, or combined with any other therapy offered.
Jennie offers these services from her own home in Bronington, Shropshire, which is located approximately 5 miles outside Whitchurch. She also realizes that travelling is not always possible when living in this area of outstanding beauty so also offers a mobile service to the Whitchurch, Hammer, Penley, Wrexham, Malpas, Wem and Ellesmere areas. ACUPUNCTURE
Jennie practices both Western and Eastern acupuncture techniques. Acupuncture is a proven and effective treatment for many different ailments, both physical and emotional. From headaches, to Achilles tendonitis; menopausal and pregnancy problems, all the way through to use in oncology care.
INJURY TREATMENT
With over 25 years of experience Jennie has a strong reputation for treating injuries. Having been caused by a sporting incident, or simply picking up a heavy object, Jennie has great success in getting patients back to full health.
MASSAGE
Massage, be it deep tissue, sports, or just a nice relaxing treatment. Jennie has been doing this since 1999 and cannot be recommend highly enough for this service.
PREGNANCY SERVICES
Being pregnant can be tough on the body both mentally and physically. Jennie has been offering a range of pregnancy treatments for over 20 years.
ONCOLOGY
LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE
This affects so many of us, either through being the patient or the carer. There are a range of services Jennie can offer to help all family members going through these difficult times.
This is a very specific type of treatment that is used to eliminate toxins and oedema from the body.
